If you are sending us payment for bookings, can you please put in an sae - tell me who you are, when you are fishing and an address  - i think some folk think I'm physic!!

 

Greetings to those that have missed my diary page,  I didn't realise it was so popular as many have you have commented on my moans and groans.  Here's 2:

Good morning to the 2 gentlemen, (a word i use loosely) who think Hawford is a place to dump rubbish

firstly to the man who thinks he's a bear,  do bears **** in the woods?, well this one certainly did!! on Penlake, Sunday 13th --you know who you are, may i remind you A. we have to clean up your mess, and B. we have a working toilet with all mod cons. You wouldn't do it in your own garden, so don't do it in ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

secondly the man who fished Bridge lake 2 weeks ago on a match - bald, drives a  black car, now he decided he'd eat his lunch at Hawford, so he leaves a pile of rubbish and empties his ashtray under the car and drives off!!   do you honestly think we don't notic

 

I now put the results of the Saturday/Sunday matches on the drop down menu on the fishery page. 

I have had many enquiries for match bookings for 2012,  all Sundays are booked from the end of April to the end of November,  just a few Bridge dates open.  Saturdays are not so busy.

I will take bookings for 2013 from March 2012.

In 2013, the 3 pegs on the roadside on Penlake in front of the lodge will be closed as will the road.  This is because we hope to have the Lodge up and running as accommodation, and visitors would not like to wake up and see an angler in front of him!!  The cost of Penlake will remain the same (£150) and 3 pegs will be dug out elsewhere on the pool.

 

Reddings - the bar has been set!

the match record has now been set at 101lb 6oz by Ed Grey on Saturday 24th September.
Since the lake has been re-opened in July, the weights have been getting better and better. So we are very pleased that a good weight has now come out of the lake.

Price increase 2012

After 5 years of being £6 for a day ticket, we have to increase it to £7 from January 1st 2012. Sorry about this but we have been the cheapest out of most fisheries for a long time, so its time..........
The pools will remain the same prices.
